Our Story
Jamii-Hub was born out of a deep understanding of the challenges faced by African communities both at home and in the diaspora. Our founders experienced firsthand the frustrations of traditional financial systems that excluded community-based savings, the opacity of fundraising platforms, and the lack of digital tools designed with African cultural values in mind.
We recognized that existing solutions weren't built for us, by us. They didn't understand the importance of collective savings circles, the trust-based nature of community support, or the unique dynamics of diaspora-to-home relationships.
